IMMIGRATION, EMIGRATION, TRANSIT & PIER
Star LCD screens are always positioned head-on in high traffic locations. Most screens are 55 inches and 85 inches and are vertically positioned. Advertising is of 10 sec duration and a typical advertisement appears once every 3 minutes. A 13 unit LCD network in the transit area that targets messages to departing and transit passengers. A network of 8 high resolution 55” LCDs greet every passenger who comes into the country at the Immigration hall.

Four large size LEDs dot the transit and immigration halls to provide messages that demand clarity in picture quality. Richardson uses 2.5 pixel LED video walls that provide high resolution picture quality at vantage points that impact both outbound and inbound travelers.

Mobitel has taken advantage of the strategic location of the LED lightboxes at the transit hall and taken all lightboxes for their airport campaign. Richardson’s gloss black cladded columns add more impact to the lightboxes and makes sure that no one misses the 11 messages at the transit area.
The pier boasts state of the art technology for the23 light boxes. Using modern LED technology the 20 ft by 4 ft lightboxes bring out creative brilliantly. This is the first time that technology of this type has been used in light boxes in Sri Lanka.
Richardson researched the lightboxes and decided to ensure more dwell time for advertisements. The 20ft long lightboxes have a minimum of 16 secs of dwell time compared to earlier units that had a mere 4 secs of dwell time.
Lightboxes come in various sizes and are mounted in the transit and immigration halls. Most lightboxes are 6ft x 2ft and are mounted for head-on visibility.The state of the art slim light boxes deliver high image quality for advertising spread in the Emigration, Transit and Immigration areas. Richardson offers many sizes: 6ft x 2ft, 5ft x 6ft, 6ft x 3.5ft and a quad-set of 5ft x 2ft units.
